ASSISTANT BOOKING/PRODUCTION MANAGER INTERN

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Booking/Production Manager (directly) and the CEO/Founder of Reflective Music (indirectly), the Assistant Booking/Production Manager Intern will provide important administrative support to the booking, event production, and managerial divisions of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Booking/Production Manager Intern (ABPMI) will be responsible for updating and managing the Reflective Music event calendar, as well as setting appointments for venue walk-throughs. The ABPMI will also be responsible for being present at shows, performances, and other events especially in (but not limited to) the unavailability of the Booking/Production Manager for filming and recording purposes. 

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be 21+
  • Must live in the city of Chicago
  • Must have working smartphone with excellent camera 
  • Must be available on Thursday nights
  • Knowledge of event  production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods, including ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media
  • Creative and critical thinking skills
  • Able to quickly learn about new products and technologies
  • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Superior command of the English language
  • Excellent facility with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Applications and Google Applications
MEDIA INTERN(S)

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the CEO/Founder and Vice President of Reflective Music, the Media Intern will enhance the visual aspects of the Reflective art.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Media Intern will be responsible for photography, filming and editing commercials, music videos, and live performances related to Reflective Music. The MI will also be responsible for peforming all transportation, set up, and operation of camera equipment, as well as any necessary tripods, cables, switchers, recorders, encoders, and mixers.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 21+ preferred
  • Must live in the city of Chicago
  • Must own or have access to industry standard camera
  • Hands on experience in photography videography and thorough knowledge of camera components 
  • Must own/have access to, as well as working knowledge of, video editing software (ex: Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Avid, etc.)
  • Creative and critical thinking skills
  • Able to quickly learn about new products and technologies
  • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Superior command of the English language
  • Excellent facility with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Applications and Google Applications
  • Pursuing a degree in photography, videography, film, or related (preferred)
 
 

RADIO PROMOTIONS INTERNS

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Radio Promotions Manager (directly) and the CEO/Founder of Reflective Music (indirectly), the Radio Promotions Interns will provide important administrative, digital, and field support to the marketing/promotion division of the company with the objectives of brand awareness and performance opportunities being the most prevalent.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Radio Promotions Interns (RPI’s) will be responsible for keeping up with the Reflective Music release calendar, as well as sending out releases to local DJ’s in their area. The RPI’s will also be responsible for logs of radio station and DJ contacts in their area, adding to them weekly and delivering to the RPM. The RPI's will be responsible for introducing the RPM to their contacts, in addition to maintaining and fostering their own relationships with the DJ's and radio station personnel.

  • 18+
  • Must have computer and internet access 
  • Must have working smart phone
  • Knowledge of radio promotion, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods, including ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media

  • Able to quickly learn about new products and technologies

PR INTERN

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Publicist/Administrative Coordinator (directly) and the CEO/Founder of Reflective Music (indirectly), the PR Intern will provide important administrative, digital, and field support to the marketing/promotion division of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The PR Intern (PRI) will be responsible for keeping up with the Reflective Music release calendar, as well as sending out emails and press releases to blogs and magazines in their area. The PRI will also be responsible for adding to the blog contact sheet and adding to it weekly, as well as assisting with EPK’s and social media promotion.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 21+
  • Must own laptop with internet access
  • Must own working smart phone with excellent camera
  • Must live in Chicago
  • Creative and critical thinking skills 
  • Able to quickly learn about new products and technologies
  • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills

  • Experience with Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) preferred
